RSVP Speech is an affiliate of Amador Valley High School DECA, a national organization that teaches high school students the basics of business through conferences.

DECA

DECA stands for the Distributive Education Clubs of America. This non-profit organization was founded in the year of 1946 and is now headquartered in Reston, Virginia. After more than 65 years, DECA now has programs in all fifty states of the U.S.A. and many other countries worldwide. DECA has two divisions, the high school division and the collegiate division. In both divisions, students learn important business skills, from professional handshakes to complex business concepts, and compete in competitions showcasing their newfound talents.

Amador Valley High School

Amador Valley High School, located in Pleasanton, is one of the top-ranking high schools in the state of California. This community of Dons has won many awards including National Blue Ribbon School, National School of Character, California Distinguished School, and California Golden Bell Award Winner, to name a few. AVHS also offers a wide variety of classes, including many that encourage students to tackle the subject of public speaking with fervor and determination.
